Executive Chef Leonardo “Leo” Vulagi has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
Prior to joining the team at The Detroit Seafood Market, Chef Leo worked for the Andiamo Italian Restaurant Group, Larco’s Italian Chop House, Baci Abracci, Sangria. He also served as chef at Jonmarx Steak & Seafood. In addition, Chef appeared in a cooking segment on NBC Television titled “Great Weekend Recipes.
Chef Leo is a graduate of the famed New York Culinary Institute of America. While there he was awarded two gold medals and a silver at the 1988 Culinary Olympics.
